Taken the other week in Beverly, Yorkshire. Beverley Cathedral. I intend to submit this image into a competition themed "evening light" on monday and would appreciate some feed back. I know its slightly over the top but that was my intention. Would have pasted some flying bats on if I was allowed to do that lol. xxx

This looks great Char,hard to see how it would fit into that category though cos it`s in mono you can`t really tell there`s any evening light there :o

lol.... I know what you mean Jonathan and I agree with you really. But it was the only image I had that was shot in the evening and during the period of time I was allowed to shoot the image lol. Its all in good fun anyways... if it gets thrown out so be it. Thanks for the comment xxx

fantastic detail Char.
Would it be worth trying to straighten some of it before submitting it?
I guess that would depend on what sort of competition it is but the judges at our camera club are always very critical of that...good luck hun coz it's a fab photo :-)

Thanks for the comment hun. I have straightened it lol.. and although some of the lines are still not right thats because of the use of a wide angle lens. The line from the spire are straight though and unless I wanted to distort the whole image, thats the best I could have done. I decided not to submit it as its not really suitable anyways. Was just really desperation for me to think I could/ should submit it. Will miss this competition out. Thanks again for your comment xx
